Pool Build Experience

My wife and I had always wanted a pool, but as we approached retirement, I wasn’t sure it made financial sense. That changed one day when I stopped at Rosati’s for pizza and noticed Encantada Pools in the same plaza. We had already received quotes from four other pool builders, all of which were beyond our budget, and a couple would not even provide an estimate after hearing our price range. While waiting for my order, I walked into Encantada Pools and met the owner, DJ. After hearing what we wanted and what we hoped to spend, he suggested I meet with Daniel from sales and design, explaining that there might be ways to save on certain features. Daniel later visited our home, reviewed our sketch, and listened carefully as we described our vision for the pool. He was patient, offered helpful suggestions, and pointed out areas where we could reduce costs. When we met again, he walked us through the project plan and pricing. We adjusted several items, including scaling the landscaping from full-yard to partial and refining the pool size, which significantly affected cost. In the end, we agreed on a design that looked great, stayed within budget, and required very few compromises.
Construction stayed largely on schedule, with only a few minor delays due to weather, holidays, and a couple of adjustments once we saw the layout taking shape. At one point, while the concrete was being poured, we asked to make the last step larger so it would function more like a platform. The contractor quickly called DJ, the team made the change, and I expected the last-minute adjustment to be expensive. Instead, the added cost for the extra concrete was only $260, which I felt was very fair. Their project manager, Jobe, was excellent to work with and kept us informed throughout each phase of construction. I have been a handyman and DIYer my whole life, and I could tell that their team and subcontractors took pride in their workmanship and did the job right.
I would definitely recommend Encantada Pools. In any project, small issues are bound to come up, but the true measure of a company is how it responds. In our experience, Encantada Pools was consistently fair, professional, and easy to work with.

Our overall experience with Encantada Pools was outstanding! Daniel designed the perfect oasis for our backyard. The pool itself is on the smaller side than most, but it is exactly what we asked for. In addition to the pool construction the landscaping, ground re-grating, new plants, and reshaping of our existing turf was all done extremely well and with professionalism. The foreman Joab really knows all the technicals of pool installation, from the construction to tile work to startup operations.

Between Daniel, Joab, and Nic we were delivered a high end product we were promised. From design to startup/orientation they were with us the entire way, and even after construction was completed they continue to provide support to answer any questions and even help maintain the pool while we went out of town. This is our very first experience with our own pool so that is very nice added touch.

I am confident they will continue to be our pool partners throughout the life of our new Oasis! I highly recommend Encantada Pools to anyone looking to install a new pool of any size and features.

Only giving 5 stars because 10 is not an option. First impression is everything. A member of the team came to the property to validate site dimensions. (another did not) Design experience was great. State of the art tools assisted in our design. Upon selecting Encantada, the team kept us informed throughout the process. Working with the Subs was also great. Communicative and professional. As anticipated; the pool result was outstanding. Highly recommend. Thank you, D&M.

We had a great experience with Encantada Pools. Due to my chronic bone disease, Paget’s of the Bone, my specialist encourage me to exercise in a pool five days per week. We live 45 minutes from the closest therapy pool so we decided to have a pool built. Our daughter in law’s friend just installed a pool with Encantada and highly recommended them. We couldn’t be happier with the final project. Our pool is beautiful as well as the landscaping. They met every challenge since our yard is so small. Plus the communication was top notch. From the owners, Nic and DJ, to the designer, Daniel, to Mike, the startup specialist, to all the hands on crews, they were all amazing. They even went out of their way to find the hand rail we wanted.

DJ provided us with the perfect small pool that enhanced the landscape of our property and ticked all the boxes for our ideal backyard private retreat and family play pool.
